HOW TO FIND IT

Cross Anglesey on the new A55 road to the turning for Valley (Junction 3 - not RAF Valley). Follow the signs around the two roundabouts to Valley, then at the first set of traffic lights in Valley turn left onto the B4545 signed for Treaddur Bay.

On the left after 70 yards is “Valley Stores”, a 24 hour Spa shop for food & drink, newspapers and household supplies.

Over the level crossing.

Over the bridge (not very obvious) in Four Mile Bridge; at the phone box and bus stop 150 yards after this bridge (a mile from the traffic lights) turn left, signed Rhoscolyn and White Eagle.

After 1 ½ miles pass the road on the left signed to Silver Bay.

Take the next left, signed to the Beach and the White Eagle.

Pass the White Eagle by going left at its entrance.

The road now turns right, passes the White Eagle back gate, turns sharp left and sharp right at a white house, then sharp left. Don't go left this time! Straight ahead is a steel gate between stone-built gateposts with the name on.

This is the main entrance to The Point.

500 yards on is a 2^nd gate (kept closed to keep stray sheep out). Then there is a third gate (to keep stray people out).

The Point is 200 yards further on, at the top of the rise.

[Up the slope 100 yards past the house is another gate - the track through this leads across the beach to rejoin the road from the White Eagle.]
